Not Me Monday

Yes, "Not Me Monday" is back on the Dell Blog. Hop on over to MckMama's blog to check out other "Not Me Monday" Bloggers. Some Hayden "Not Me's" Hayden has sinus issues in the fall and winter. He finished an antibiotic on Friday for his first infection this season. Big surprise....he is still snotty today. I did not repeatedly hit redial for 45 minutes to get a hold of the pediatrician. When the nurse answered I did not get happy when it was one of the nurses that knows us well so I didn't have to explain Hayden's whole situation with his sinuses. I will not wait by the phone today to find out what the next plan of action is. I did not almost rub the silver off my necklace on Tuesday during Hayden's EUA because I was so nervous about his eye pressures. I also did not hug the doctor after he told us the good news that Hayden's pressures were stable. Hayden is wanting to do his bathroom needs by himself. He does great with #1, it's #2 I am worrying about. With him being visually impaired I am concerned about him wiping himself. I did not find him in the bathroom last week putting his pants back on after he said he had to poop. I asked him if he went, he said, "yes Mommy, I do it myself!" I did not find pieces of pooh all around the bathroom and on him. I did not just smile and say, "Honey we need to work on this. Call for Mommy and I will help you next time." I did not have a sweet moment with Hayden yesterday as he wrapped his arms around me and said, "Mommy, I love you so much!" I did not totally melt. Jaxon "Not Me's" Jaxon is not doing well with going on the potty. He does not think it's cool to sit on the potty for 20 minutes. He is not sitting on the potty as I type. Jaxon did not figure out how to climb in and out of his crib. Funny thing though, he won't climb out at nap or bedtime. This child just loves his crib. Jaxon is not repeating everything.....I mean everything! His choice of words to repeat is "damn it". He does not get that from me. Maddie's "Not Me's" Maddie did not get a letter home saying she was going to be put in the enrichment program at school. We are not very proud of her! She most certainly is not looking forward to being off school for 6 days over Thanksgiving and is not already planning her to do list.

After Maddie spent the night at my parents. My mother did not inform me that Maddie is just like me when I was her age. I did not apologize for acting that way 25 years ago. What did you not do this last week?

Happy Fryday

Yes, I know it's Sunday, but MckMama is having a contest hosted by her beautiful girl "Small Fry". She is hoping to get more traffic to her blog to evenutally raise money for String of Pearls. It is an organization that provides guidance and support to families who have lost their babies shortly after birth. The contest is also to thank everyone for praying for their little MckMuffin as they were told he would not survive birth..........Little Stellan will be four weeks old on Wednesday.....what a miracle! The person picked to win will recieve a custom header done by the talented MckMama herself along with some other cool things. This family is amazing. So if you haven't had the pleasure of reading MckMama's story I would suggest you click on over there and prepare to be inspired!

Future Hunters

Brian has been busy the last few days stocking our freezer for the winter. He got his fourth deer and a turkey-lurkey. Brian always brings the deer he gets to the garage for the kids to see. You would think after the second one they wouldn't want/need to see anymore, but they get so excited when we get the call to open the garage door and go see the prize!
Here is Jaxon & Daddy with a five point.
Brian went turkey hunting for the first time this weekend. The kids were very excited to see this and get a feather.
<
Our back yard at the moment.......anyone want to rake? We figured we would let them all fall and then have a raking party with the kids. That should be fun!
